Battery research spans electrode microstructure, cell integrity, and degradation analysis — from porosity and cracking in electrode materials to internal defects affecting performance and safety. BlueScientific supplies the instrumentation for this work, including Micro CT for non-destructive 3D imaging of cell and electrode structure, SEM/EDS for microstructural and elemental characterisation, and XRF for elemental composition analysis of battery materials.
