Visit our stand in the exhibition to find out about our micro-CT scanners for bone research.
Micro-CT is 3D internal X-ray imaging at micro-metre scale. It’s extremely flexible, non-destructive and faster than histology or slicing. A scan can be acquired in 10-15 minutes (medium resolution) or a few hours (at the highest resolution), generating a full 3D virtual reconstruction in minutes.
- Bone structure
- Morphometry and micro-densitometry
- Pre-clinical imaging
- Bone volume analysis
- Image and quantify disease models
- Examine drug treatment responses
- Biomaterials
- Analyse cartilage
- Sub-micron imaging of bone porosity
- Non-destructively image fractures
We offer the complete range of microtomography systems from Bruker SkyScan.
Venue
The conference will be held in the Sir Martin Evans Building at Cardiff University’s School of Biosciences.
