Analysing Nutrients and Toxic Elements with TXRF
This webinar will cover how to analyse food and beverage samples with the new Bruker S4 TStar, a flexible multi-excitation TXRF spectrometer.
Starting with sample preparation for both liquids and solids, which is a straightforward procedure with no laborious digestion or hazardous chemicals required.
There will be application examples with a variety of samples, including:
- Detection of toxic elements such as arsenic in rice or lead in tea.
- Quality control of nutrient elements in liquid nutritional products eg chromium, selenium, molybdenum and iodine.
- Metal composition of plant materials.
Levels of detection will be demonstrated, with the latest TXRF spectrometer, the S4 TStar, equipped with two X-ray tubes and new large area detectors.
Whether you are interested in quality control, research and development or simply reducing the costs of analytical services, the webinar will give you the information you need about the capabilities of TXRF.
At the end there will be a 15 minute Q&A session so you can pose your questions to the experts.
