Electrochem is an annual conference for the UK & Ireland, showcasing a cross-disciplinary range of fundamental and applied electrochemistry. The event aims to encourage the exchange of knowledge, promote the latest research, link academia with industry and suppliers, and engage the next generation of electrochemists and electrochemical entrepreneurs. In recent years Electrochem has attracted distinguished colleagues from Europe and further afield.
This will be the 20th event in the conference’s history, and also marks the 50 year anniversary of the first peer-reviewed research article published by Noel Hampson and his team, signalling the birth of Electrochemistry Research at Loughborough University.
This year Electrochem 2014 will include plenary lectures, symposia and poster sessions on a variety of highly important and relevant topics in electrochemistry, as well as a trade exhibition, awards and a gala dinner.
