SEMT 2017

SEMT is the the Society of Electron Microscopy Technology’s one day meeting. The event will be at the Natural History Museum on 6th December 2017.

RMS Beginners Competition

The RMS Beginners Competition is designed to encourage those relatively new to microscopy to present their work to an audience at a scientific meeting. The competition is open to students, interns, apprentices and faculty staff who’ve given no more than two talks outside their home institution. The competition is often a highlight of the meeting.

Presentations should be approximately 10 minutes long, with a few minutes allocated for questions. This short format promotes a well thought-out, economical style.

To enter, send a brief abstract to Dr Alex Ball, Secretary of the SEMT at a.ball@nhm.ac.uk. Your abstract should be one A4 side max in Word. Include your title, authors, scientific abstract and a figure with caption.
